Application for New Premise Licence

Application for New Premise Licence

Doug Simmonds - Applications for Premises LicensesApplications for Premises Licenses

New applications can be made by an individual or by a partnership or company. This will entail making a risk assessment against the four licensing objectives.

You will need to establish the non-domestic ratable value of your property, which then sets the fee you pay to the council.  Additionally you will need to decide what activities you are going to have going on in your premises and what hours during which they will occur. We will then put together an operating schedule to submit showing how it will work and how you will achieve the four licensing objectives.  Additionally we will have to compile notices to display at the premises and a newspaper advert.

When considering this you should be aware that as well as the cost of the plans there is the fee for the council based on your ratable value, our company fees, the cost of a newspaper advert and your personal license and any training, you should budget for between a £1000 and £1500.
